Droid Modifications

Spotlight

     This modification installs a permanent light on the droid. Players can
     control the light by commanding their droid to <lights on|off>.

Storage Bins

     This modification increases the carry capacity of the droid.

Cosmetic

     This modification allows players to add a special message to the end of
     their droid's short description. The message is set by commanding the droid
     to <description [description]>.

Cloaking

     This modification allows a droid to become invisible indefinitely, as long
     as the droid remains inactive during the period of invisibility. Any
     command to the droid will cause it to become visible again. Players can
     command their droid to <cloak>.

Lockpick Tools

     This modification gives a droid the lockpicking ability. Players can
     command their droids to <lockpick [door]>.

Smoke Pellets

     This modification gives a droid a smoke pellet dispenser. Smoke pellets,
     when used, will cause a room to become so clouded that anything trying to
     follow will be unable to see where it is going. The smoke dissipates afer a
     few seconds. Players can command their droids to <smoke>, and when the
     droid runs out of charge, they can <smoke recharge> at the nearest
     powertap. You can check how many charges the droid has with <smoke check>.

Particle Shield

     This shield gives the droid special resistance to melee and unarmed damage.

Armor Plating

     This plating makes the droid sturdier and able to take more of a beating.

Contraband Bag

     This modification installs a hidden compartment in the droid that lets the
     owner store objects away from the prying eyes of local authorities.

Remote Control

     This modification allows the player the ability to remotely control the
     droid. The remote interface can extend the reach of a planet, but no
     further. Players can command their droid to <remote>.

Voicebox

     This modification gives the droid the ability to speak and report its own
     status.

Sonar

     This modification installs a sonar module on a droid, allowing it to detect
     the presence of invisible or cloaked entities in a room.

Energy Shield

     This modification installs a special shield designed to reduce the effects
     of blaster fire.

Cortosis Armor

     This modification installs a special shield designed to reduce the effects
     of saber damage.

Deflector Shield

     This shield is designed to reduce all forms of attack.

Weapon Upgrades

     This modification increases the droid's weapon power, making it more
     effective in combat.

Repulsor Boots

     This modification increases the strength of a droid, making it able to
     carry more at once.

Regenerative Armor

     This modification allows a droid to slowly regenerate itself over time when
     damaged.

Remote Summon

     This modification allows a droid the ability to find its way across the
     galaxy when summoned by its owner.

Overclocking

     This modification installs special circuitry in the droid, allowing it to
     temporarily become faster and stronger. As the circuitry generates
     significantly more heat, the droid must wait a while after overclocking to
     cool off. Players can command their droid to <overclock>.

Advanced Remote Control

     This modification allows the player the ability to remotely control the
     droid from anywhere in the galaxy. Players can command their droid to
     <remote>.
