How to use the Bank
All banks on SWMud are branches of the Universal Bank; thus, a bank account can be accessed in any SWMud bank. Credits stored in the bank are perfectly safe. You may wish to save your character after making a large deposit, however, so that the deposit will not be lost in the event of a MUD crash.
The minimum starting balance for an account is 100 credits. Once you have opened an account, you need only a positive balance. A fee of 5 credits per RL day is charged for balances under 100 credits.
Note that these changes to your account do *not* show up on the "score" info; you must come to the bank to check it to see what your account stands at, minus any fees incurred.
Bank commands are:
openaccount # will
open an account with # credits.
closeaccount will close out your account.
balance will give you your balance.
deposit # will
deposit # credits to your account.
withdraw # will
remove # credits from your account and add them to your inventory.
transfer (player) # will transfer # credits from your account to the specified player's account. The recipient must be logged on at the time. A transfer fee of 10% will also be removed from your account, with discounts available for politicians and assorted individuals.
wire (player) # will transfer # credits are transferred from your bank account to the specified player's account of someone who is currently offline. A transfer fee of 20% will also be removed from your account, with discounts available for politicians and assorted individuals.
Slicers of the appropriate level have access to these commands through a slicertool.

Any problems with banks should be reported to the wizards.
